Welcome to
Schwartz's Delicatessen

Here’s a little bit of history for anyone wondering what a "deli" is. It all started in the 19th century when the "delicatessen" were mainly owned by Germans and Alsatians. The word itself comes from German and translates to "delicacies".

Over time, Jews gradually started acquiring this type of stores, combining catering and delicatessen as well as introducing New Yorkers to the Kosher Jewish food experience.

60 years of know-how and family recipes, Schwartz’s deli has been offering the NY deli experience to Parisians since 2009, particularly its renowned pastrami, undoubtedly the most authentic in the capital.
